LA Holiday Makers Markets 2026: Where Vendors Can Still Apply
Craft Contemporary, Sunshine Makers Market and Make Room are taking holiday vendor applications. Dates, fees and tips for LA makers selling this season.

For a lot of Los Angeles makers, the holiday season is not just busy. It can be the most important stretch of the year. A good market table in December puts handmade goods in front of shoppers who arrive with gift lists, cash in their budgets and a reason to buy something they cannot find at a big-box store.
Several LA holiday markets are still accepting vendor applications for November and December 2026. Here is a look at some of them, what they cost and what organizers say they are looking for, plus a few tips for making a market weekend pay off.
Craft Contemporary Makers Market (Mid-Wilshire)
Craft Contemporary, the museum on Wilshire Boulevard's Museum Row, hosts its annual winter Makers Market on Friday, Dec. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5 and 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum says the market draws around 1,500 visitors over two and a half days. It is an outdoor market with an indoor fallback for bad weather, and entry is included with museum admission.
The table fee is $300 for one 6-by-2-foot table and two chairs. Organizers list the categories they want: clothing and accessories, sculptural or functional ceramics, jewelry, homewares, printed items such as calendars and cards, perfumes, body products and candles, non-perishable food and kids' items. The application asks for a seller's permit upload, a product description, a retail price range and marketing photos.
The museum is also a short walk from the new Wilshire/Fairfax Metro station, which opened in May.
Sunshine Makers Market (Studio City and beyond)
Sunshine Makers Market lists a full holiday calendar, most of it at The Shops at Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City:
- Saturdays, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14
- Saturday, Nov. 28, which is Small Business Saturday
- Saturdays, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12
- Sunday, Dec. 13, at a Holidays in Harmony event in Mid-Wilshire
- Friday, Dec. 18, in Winnetka
- Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Helms Design District in Culver City
The organizers say they look for goods that are unique, high quality, mostly handmade and sometimes experiential, and they invite makers, artists, designers and entrepreneurs to apply for individual dates.
Make Room Winter Art Market (Hollywood)
Make Room, a gallery at 6361 Waring Ave., holds its Winter Art Market on Sunday, Dec. 6, from noon to 5 p.m. The gallery expects 700 to 1,000 visitors over the afternoon and more than 30 curated booths across the gallery and courtyard.
Make Room says it reviews applications in the order received, with early applicants getting first pick of booth placement. Selected vendors sign an agreement and pay online, and the gallery promotes confirmed vendors on Instagram and in its newsletter before market day. Vendors who apply as a pair each get 10% off the booth fee. Booth options and prices are listed in the application.
Before you apply: the basics
Get your seller's permit in order. Organizers like Craft Contemporary ask for one up front. If you sell taxable goods in California, the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration handles seller's permits, including temporary permits for short-term events. Your market organizer may have its own rules about collecting and reporting sales tax, so ask.
Read the fine print on fees. Note what the fee includes, such as a table, chairs, a canopy or Wi-Fi, and whether there are separate charges for electricity or a share of sales.
Check the hours and setup times. Evening and multi-day markets mean long hours. Plan for staffing, breaks and how you will restock.
Making the weekend pay off
Price for the gift buyer. Holiday shoppers often look for items at a few clear price points. Having some lower-priced pieces, such as cards, small ceramics or candles, makes it easy for someone to buy on impulse, while signature pieces anchor your table.
Take every payment type. A card reader with a charged backup battery, a QR code for digital payments and some change for cash buyers will save sales.
Capture contacts. A small sign-up sheet or QR code to join your email list lets you reach market shoppers again in January, when gift cards and returns put money back in their pockets.
Make it giftable. Simple wrapping, gift tags or ready-made bundles can turn a browser into a buyer, especially at the last December markets.
Post before and after. If the organizer promotes vendors, share their posts and tag the market. Afterward, post your favorite moments and thank customers.
One more date to circle
Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, is the traditional kickoff for shopping local. Some markets, including Sunshine Makers Market, are scheduling events that day. If you are choosing just a few dates, that weekend and the first two weekends of December are natural ones to prioritize.
Spots at curated markets can fill quickly, and many organizers review applications as they come in. If you want a table this season, now is the time to apply.
Dates, prices and details come from each organizer's listing as of Nov. 1, 2026, and may change. Confirm with the organizer before you apply.
