From the Boxing Ring to the Basketball Court: How Michael Feehan Is Taking Seven Prayers Into Sport and Media
Sydney author Michael Feehan is taking his prayer book Seven Prayers into professional boxing sponsorships, an article with Michael Franzese and a soundtrack with producer Scott Storch.

Faith and professional sport don’t always share a stage. Michael Feehan, the Sydney author known as “OG7P,” has made a point of putting them together.
Feehan wrote Seven Prayers, a prayer book published on 28 April 2023. Since then he has linked the Seven Prayers name to professional boxing, to a former NBA player, to a published article with Michael Franzese, and, most recently, to music.
Sponsoring Sport
Through SEVEN PRAYERS, Feehan sponsors professional boxing, including former NBA player Delonte West’s bout for Brandrisk. One photo he shared with us shows him at a boxing event, wearing a Seven Prayers shirt with the book’s website, 7prayers.com.au, printed on the front.
Sponsorship puts a name in front of a crowd, and it is a natural fit for a venture whose stated purpose is to get people praying. SEVEN PRAYERS, Feehan says, exists to “prompt prayer.” The message he carries into those arenas is the same one he repeats everywhere: “Anyone can pray and everyone will pray.”
An Article With Michael Franzese
Another highlight is an article Feehan completed with Michael Franzese. He shared a copy of its front page, titled “Whispers of the Seven Prayers.” He has also presented Franzese with a copy of Seven Prayers, and a second photo he shared shows that moment.
Feehan describes both as achievements, and he mentions them alongside the sponsorships as part of how the book has been introduced to a wider audience. They are listed here as he gave them: an article completed, and a book given.
A Soundtrack With Scott Storch
The newest addition to that list comes from music. Feehan says famous music producer Scott Storch has partnered with SEVEN PRAYERS to create the soundtrack, taking the Seven Prayers name beyond the page and the arena.
In Pictures
The boxing sponsorship images Feehan shared feature four-time world champion and Boxing Hall of Famer Jeff Fenech, Paul Gallen and Delonte West. The final image marks his separate music collaboration with Scott Storch on the SEVEN PRAYERS soundtrack.

The Story the Book Tells
The sponsorships, the article and the soundtrack sit in front of a much more personal story. Feehan says events in 2019 set him on his path. “God the Father inspired me through events that took place in 2019 against me,” he says. “God found me in the lowest hell and kept me.”
From that point, he says, he prayed day and night. “Seven Prayers is the result of me praying day and night since 2019,” Feehan says. “God heard my prayers and answered them. The book was published.”
He is proud of how the book came to be. He calls it “a lived, prayed and answered prayer book” and says it was prayed from 2019 until its publication in 2023. “There is nothing like this on earth,” he says.
The Message in the Arena
The photo from the boxing event captures how Feehan likes to share the book. There is no pitch in the picture, only a shirt, a website, and a ring in the background. The Seven Prayers name is there for anyone who wants to look it up.
That approach matches the way Feehan describes the venture. He doesn’t present Seven Prayers as a product with a long list of features. He presents it as a prayer book with a story, and the sponsorships are one more place where that story can be seen.
Why Prayer, and Why Now
For Feehan, the reason to keep bringing the book to new audiences is simple. He believes in what prayer can do. “Prayer solves every problem known to man,” he says. “It is the most powerful weapon we have.”
Athletes, fans, readers and anyone else are, in his view, part of the same invitation. Prayer, he says, is for everyone. He says the book is “living and breathing” and “no ordinary prayer book.”
What He Wants Readers to Take Away
Asked for his advice, Feehan gives it in one word. “PRAY,” he says.
That is also his call to action for anyone who comes across the Seven Prayers name, whether in a boxing arena, a magazine, or a bookshop. He wants Seven Prayers to become the number one prayer book in the world, and the sponsorships, the article and the book itself are the ways he is working toward that.
